Session abstract
Climate and climate change have had a profound impact not only on the development of hominin but on the cultural practices associated with development. Further, the record of this change is more complete on the African continent than anywhere else on Earth. This session is particularly interested in drawing on contributions that discuss the influence of climate as a driver to change not only to the individual but also to society. We are keen to promote contributions that explore climate impact on both tangible heritage and intangible heritage and that address these using multidisciplinary investigations.
